This family & dog-friendly event will take place at The Pavilion at Arkansas State University on Saturday, September 8th, 2018, from 10am-3pm.
The Beck PRIDE Center for America's Wounded Veterans proudly presents the 3rd Annual Dog Fest! The Beck PRIDE Center's mission is to provide combat wounded veterans with first class educational programs & services at Arkansas State University. These include access to higher education, resources for counseling, personal rehabilitation (including service dogs), advocacy, & financial assistance. All proceeds from Dog Fest & the Fun Run support the Beck PRIDE Center's service dog program.
Where: The Pavilion at A-State, 2605 A-Street, Jonesboro (behind the A-State Football Stadium)
When: Saturday, September 8th, 10am-3pm. The Fun Run begins at 9am
Cost: $5 per person. Veterans, Dogs & Kids 6 & under are FREE! All dogs must be on a leash & wearing proof of immunization.
Activities: Welcome to the Dog Fest! Enjoy the kid & dog-friendly atmosphere & meet service dogs, K-9 dogs, & dogs who are ready for a forever home. Bring your own dog & participate in the 1-mile Fun Run/Walk, stroll around while visiting vendors selling dog-related items, goodies, & services. Enter your dog in a Best Costume, Best Trick, or Hero Dog contest. Learn more about your dogs health, get your photo made with your dog, get your face painted, eat some snacks, & enjoy the day. Bid on a variety of cool dog & human stuff in the silent auction!
