Learn 2 Fish - Have you ever wanted to learn how to fish? Stop on by Lake Walcott for fishing 101. The park does have rods available and bait, but you are more than welcome to bring your own. Participants aged 16+ must possess a valid fishing permit with Arkansas Game & Fish. Meet at the fishing pier.

Raccoon Shannigans - Join the interpreter in learning about raccoons and why they are a key part of our ecology on the ridge. Meet at the campground.

Battle of the Invasives - Join park staff in eradicating invasive plants known as privet. Invasive plants are harmful to our local environments and native plants. All tools and safety equipment will be provided. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes, bring water, and dress for weather. Participants are not required to stay for the entire time, but may stay as long as you'd like. Meet at the Visitor Center.

Lake Walcott Kayak Adventure - Have you ever wanted to try your hand at kayaking? Paddle on over to the fishing pier on Lake Walcott for a splashing good time. Children must be 6 years old to participate with an adult and at least 10 years old to paddle boat solo. Kayaks are limited but you may bring your own kayak and registration is required. Call or stop by the Visitor Center to register. Kayak rental cost: $18 for adults, $12 for children (6-12).
